WHAT TIME WILL OUR SESSION BE?

The timing of my sessions is strongly determined by the time of the year (season) and by the weather conditions. On sunny days, I prefer to commence sessions 1.5 hours before sunset during the golden hour, as it allows for the creation of my best work. When considering booking with me, please be mindful of this preference. I acknowledge that the golden hour may coincide with bedtime for little ones, as a parent myself, I understand the importance of sticking to bedtime routines, but I kindly request your consideration in making an exception on this occasion to capture beautiful images for your family. On overcast days, the shooting schedule is more flexible, offering greater freedom in timing. If you prefer a more flexible schedule, I recommend scheduling sessions for fall or winter when shooting times are not as strict.

WHAT IF IT'S RAINING?

I wear many hats. Many times as a photographer, I also have to play meterologist. I literally have four weather apps installed on my phone and sometimes they all tell me something different. With that being said, I closely monitor the weather in the week leading up to a photo shoot. Typically, I proceed with the scheduled session if the chance of rain is 40% or lower on the shooting day. However, if the probability exceeds 40%, I strongly recommend rescheduling. My experience has shown that rainy sessions often result in images that may not meet the desired quality due to challenges like wet and cold children, rushed sessions, unhappy parents, and issues like frizzy hair. While I respect the client's decision to proceed, it's important to note that I won't be able to offer a re-shoot if the final images are impacted by weather-related elements. Please take this into consideration before making your final decision.

WHEN WILL WE GET OUR PHOTOS?

The processing time for your photos is approximately three weeks. Once your images are ready, you will receive a private email containing a link to access your personalized gallery.

HOW LONG WILL MY GALLERY BE AVAILABLE?

Your gallery will be available for download for 30 days. You will receive an email notification one week before your gallery becomes unavailable. After 30 days, if you failed to download your gallery, there will be a gallery re-upload fee of $95.

CAN I HAVE IMAGES YOU DIDN'T INCLUDE IN GALLERY OR RAW FILES?

While taking the photos is an enjoyable part of the process, the real magic happens when I sit down at my computer. I devote significant effort to carefully curate the very best shots from your session. Every selected photo is a true representation of the quality and style that defines my work. I include every picture that encapsulates the essence of my craft. Unfortunately, I'm unable to provide raw files beyond what I deliver. However, I assure you that what I send your way is a thoughtfully chosen collection, ensuring you receive nothing but the best from our session.

CAN I ALTER MY PHOTOS?

If there's anything about the final appearance of your photos that doesn't meet your expectations, please feel free to share your thoughts with me. I value your input and would prefer to collaborate with you to address any concerns rather than having a filter applied to the photo. I dedicate hours to meticulously edit your pictures, and adding a filter can diminish the effort put into the process. As a service provider, I am committed to ensuring your satisfaction, and I welcome the opportunity to resolve any concerns you may have, within reasonable bounds. Before making a booking, I encourage you to explore my latest work as it provides the best insight into the quality and style of my final products. Your happiness with the outcome is my priority.

WHAT SHOULD MY FAMILY WEAR FOR PHOTOS?

Absolutely, that's a fantastic question. I'm committed to ensuring that your entire photo experience is as stress-free as possible, and to facilitate this, all my clients enjoy access to an exclusive styling service. Simply complete a brief questionnaire from the comfort of your home, sharing details about your family, preferred color scheme, and the overall vibe you envision for your clothing choices. The quick results page will present you with photo-approved clothing options for each family member, allowing you to easily compare outfits side-by-side. Feel free to experiment until you've curated the perfect ensemble. Your final selections will be emailed to both you and me, ensuring seamless coordination for our upcoming session. In addition to this premium, complimentary styling service, I also have a full client-closet that is available to all my clients.

HOW DO I PAY?

Once a date has been set, I will send an email with an invoice and contract. I require a 20% retainer (non-refundable) and remaining balance paid by your session date. You’re welcome to pay before, too, but the day of at the very latest. This ensures a smooth workflow and no delays in receiving your photos. I process all invoicing through Square, I cannot accept cash or checks. *Non-refundable retainer can be used toward any session with me*

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL?

I genuinely hope a cancellation won't be necessary, but if it does happen, unfortunately, the non-refundable retainer would be forfeited. On a more positive note, considering a rescheduling option to find a suitable date for both of us would be the best course of action.
