I’m Gillian! I’m a family photographer who is obsessed with capturing not just the major milestones, but all the in-between moments that make up your family life. Most of my clients stay with me from maternity sessions through to annual family photos, and I love getting to know each family and documenting the unique ways they grow and change over the years.
Welcoming a baby is such a special season, and documenting it in a meaningful way makes those memories last forever. As a Celina maternity photographer, I love creating sessions that feel authentic to each family. This beautiful western-inspired maternity session in Celina, Texas captured the excitement, connection, and anticipation as this couple prepares to welcome their baby.

Celina is one of my favorite locations for maternity photos. The open fields, tall grasses, and peaceful landscapes create the most beautiful natural backdrop, especially during golden hour.
For this session, we embraced a western-inspired look with cowboy hats, denim, and soft earthy tones that blended beautifully with the natural surroundings. Their sweet white horse added such a meaningful and personal touch, making the photos feel even more authentic to their lifestyle.
These types of sessions are my favorite because they feel genuine. Nothing forced. Just real moments and connection.

One of the most meaningful parts of maternity photography is capturing the quiet anticipation before life changes forever.
The way they looked at each other.
The gentle hands resting on her growing belly.
The excitement of holding tiny baby boots for the first time.
Those small moments tell the real story of this season.
I always encourage couples to slow down during their maternity session. Talk, laugh, hold each other, and just enjoy the moment. Those natural interactions create the most timeless images.

During this session, we captured two different styles to reflect both sides of their story.
First was the relaxed western look with denim, hats, and their horse out in the field. The warm tones of the landscape paired beautifully with the soft golden light and created that classic Texas feel.
Later we transitioned into a more elegant look with a fitted black maternity dress by the water. This part of the session felt romantic and timeless, highlighting her beautiful baby bump and the quiet connection between them.
Having two looks allowed us to capture both the rustic and intimate sides of their story.

Celina has quickly become one of the most beautiful places in North Texas for maternity photos. The open land, natural textures, and peaceful scenery create a perfect setting for storytelling sessions.
As a maternity photographer serving Celina, Frisco, McKinney, Prosper, and surrounding areas, I love helping families find locations that feel natural and meaningful.
The goal is always the same: creating images that feel timeless and authentic to you.

The ideal time for maternity photos is typically between 28–34 weeks. During this time your belly is beautifully round, but you are usually still comfortable enough to move around and enjoy the session.
Booking early is always recommended so we can plan the location, outfits, and overall vision together.

If you are expecting and looking for a maternity photographer in Celina, Frisco, or the surrounding North Texas area, I would love to help you document this special season.
My goal is to create a relaxed experience where you can simply enjoy the moment while we capture the memories you will treasure forever.
Because this season goes by faster than you think.
And these moments deserve to be remembered.
